Logistics and Pricing

Event Times: arrive by 3 pm on Aug 11th, ends by 1 pm on Aug 18th

This retreat includes:

  • 7 night accommodations
  • 3 meals per day
  • Full 8 day transformational process and teachings

We have a number of pricing options with special pricing for repeat participants, and young adults aged 18-25.

Earlybird tickets: $150 off Regular admission!  First 8 registrations!

Regular PRICE: fully paid by June 25th

  • $2300 US – Regular admission indoor dorm
  • $2100 US- Regular admission camping or RV

Special Registration- No early discounts

*Young Adult aged 18-25 (availability limited) $1750 US, first 5

$600.00 US deposit per person secures your place.

We may have assistant positions available only to those who have completed a Level 1 previously – please contact Amara at karunaretreats1@gmail.com if you want to apply.

*Assistants (pre-approved) $1500 (or less according to your experience with ISTA assisting)

  • To reserve your spot: Fill out the Registration Form then send a Deposit of $600 US when you are accepted.

Airfare and airport transfers to the venue are not included. Shuttles cost $60 one way for one person, or $35 per person if more, if they are available at the right time for you.  Or you can sign up on our ride form to carpool with others.

The site is 1.5 to 2 hours east from the Seattle, WA airport.

Payment options include Venmo, credit card or check. Sorry, no Paypal.  Details on payment will be sent via email when you register.  Check your spam folder if you don't get it.

Pre-Event Health Agreements

We will be taking steps to insure all of our health, including:

*requesting a period of refraining from risky practices such as going to large events with people you are not familiar with, for 5 days beforehand.

*avoiding anyone who is sick, 

*We will not do a rapid testing of everyone the day the event starts at the site. No vaccination required.

*If you have any symptoms of illness, please do not come to the training.  You can get a refund according to our refund policy, below.

Illness Policy: 

If the training begins and we find someone has a contagious illness and we need to isolate them, we can offer no refunds or transfers because the costs will all have been paid.

Please take all precautions to ensure your health and minimize your risk of illness 5 days prior to the training. It is your responsibility to stay healthy and understand any risks you take prior to attending this event.

If the training begins and you decide to leave, there will be no refunds or forwarding of your payments.

If the training is canceled for any reason you will get a full refund for the amount you paid for the training.

The Venue:

Roam our forests, play in the river, eat,
enjoy conversation, hot tub under the stars, meditate, pray, dance, sing,  
and of course... savor peace, quiet, nature and bliss.

ACCOMMODATION:

 You may choose varying options, and prices below are for 6 nights during the training.
Bedding, mattresses and towels will be provided except for people camping.
If you must have access to electricity, please note that on your registration.

Bring your own tent, mattress and camping gear. We have lovely private campground areas.  Please note they are a short walk, so if you have a challenge with walking, this is not the best option.  $200 off

REGULAR HOUSING OPTIONS

4. Indoor Dorm

Single or double beds in a dorm, for 3-7 people.  Has electricity.

5. Private room for couple

We only have a few rooms with a double or queen bed.  Check for availability. Extra cost.

REFUND POLICY

ISTA Cancellations, Transfers and Refunds Policy:

Because we have limited space available, we have a strict refund policy.

If for some reason you become unable to attend, you have the following options:

  1. If canceling over 45 days before the date of the training, your deposit (and any additional funds paid, minus a $250 admin fee which is non-refundable and non-transferable. The remainder can be transferred to any future ISTA training or festival within the same calendar year. (Transfer fees are the responsibility of the participant). Or the remainder can be refunded directly to you.
  2. If canceling less than 45 days before the date of the training, your deposit ($600) is forfeited in full. All additional payments for tuition and housing can be transferred to another training within the same calendar year, or a person attending the training (minus payment processing fees). 
  3. If you have not paid your balance 45 days before the first day of the training, the same as #2 will apply. You will be contacted and your spot may be opened to another participant if final payment arrangements are not made.
  4. If canceling less than 21 days before the date of the training, your deposit and payments (except for housing upgrades) are forfeited in full, except that payments for tuition and housing can be transferred to another person attending the training (minus $600 and payment processing fees) but not sent to another training. 
  5. If you cancel with less than 7 days before the start date of training, NO REFUNDS OR TRANSFERS will be issued. With the exception of the Coronavirus policy below. 
  6. If the training begins and you test positive for COVID and we need to isolate you, we can offer no refunds or transfers because the costs will all have been paid.
  7. National Health Crisis and Fires Cancelation Policy: If we have to cancel this training for reasons relating directly to a national health crisis or due to fires/evacuation in the area, we will give participants a full refund minus any non-recoverable costs (such as non-refundable catering or venue deposits, etc.)

NOTE: By paying the deposit for the training, you indicate your agreement to these cancellation terms.

Note: All credit card and/or bank transfer fees are the responsibility of the participant and not included in the tuition rate.  These are also non-refundable.

Note: If you’ve paid for a private room upgrade you will be refunded the full amount of room upgrade fee up until one week before the training.

Coronavirus Cancelation Policy:

If we have to cancel this training in the last one week before it begins for reasons relating directly to COVID, we will give participants a full refund minus any non-recoverable costs (such as non-refundable catering or venue deposits, etc.)

If you need to cancel because of Covid-19 infection or travel restrictions related to the pandemic, the same standard cancellation policy described above applies with the following exception…

EXCEPTION: (Since we are asking you not to attend if you have covid), if you get sick with covid and have to cancel within 7 days of the training start date, and can provide proof of a positive test result, we will refund you your tuition, minus your $600 deposit and any non-recoverable costs (such as non-refundable catering or venue deposits, etc.)

We trust and appreciate your integrity and honesty around last-minute cancellations.

Cancellation due to Positive COVID test or illness in the last 1 week before the training: FAQ 

You will NOT get a refund if:

1 -Your country requires you to get into quarantine when you return and you therefore decide not to attend the training.

2 - The airline cancels your ticket or flight

You WILL get a refund minus your deposit if:

  • 1. if your country's borders are closed

2 If you have symptoms and get a positive COVID test in the last week and can show us the results

  1. If the training is canceled for any reason
